Virtual keyboards, by necessity, have access to everything typed, making data security paramount. Any mishandling can lead to severe breaches of trust and legal consequences.

Implementing On-Device Processing

One of the most effective ways to enhance privacy is through on-device processing. By handling predictive text and autocorrect functions locally, we eliminate the need to transmit sensitive data over the internet.

On-device processing not only protects user data but also improves performance by reducing latency associated with server communication.

Transparent Privacy Policies

Transparency is essential in building and maintaining user trust. We have crafted our privacy policies to be clear and understandable, avoiding complex legal jargon. Our policies detail what data is collected, how it’s used, and the measures we take to protect it.

End-to-End Encryption

To further protect user data, we implement end-to-end encryption. This ensures that any data transmitted is unreadable to unauthorized parties. For example, Signal’s messaging app is renowned for its robust encryption protocols, setting industry standards that we strive to match.

At Fleksy, we use end-to-end-encryption for our SDK Licensing mechanism. That being said, all text data of our SDK clients’ virtual keyboard products remain on-device or becomes the sole responsibility of our clients’ own privacy policies. Fleksy does not collect text data from its clients.
